After the ban on Okada by the Lagos State Government ,

Freight Forwarding group under the agencies of the Association of Concerned Freight Forwarders and Logistics, ACFFL, has condemned the state government over the ban decision which is not good enough for those doing the business.

The group’s chairman, Andy Best Omenogor , described to the Vanguard reporters that the government would exempt the ban if it did not consider truckloads. He added that more than 30% of the sector will contribute to the region’s Internal Revenue (ECR). The government has taken this work for our physical business. I never knew Lagos State Government that we are spending at least 30% of the revenue we are making. If they said they would be exempt from banning a commercial motorcycle on Apapa, “Andy Best Omenogor also pointed out that it is not appropriate for truckers to move around while doing their business. However, he advised the Lagos State government to implement other strategies to regulate the activities of commercial motorcycle activities. He said: “Business motorcycles operating in Apapa can ensure that all motorcycles are registered. They can go further by making sure they have the uniforms to be monitored and not completely blocked. ”Andy Best Omenogor complains about the reduction of imports by the Nigerian Ports Authority, API. And API Full Terminal API Roads are the major causes of traffic congestion in the Appalachian port. Nigerian importers have dwindled, and now they have to tell us how many ships are calling in Apapa ports. Before that, we had at least 3,000 containers before the ports but now we don’t have up to 200 containers to be released. ”
